The other day, I got a text from a mom friend of mine asking after a play table. Not just any play table– the IKEA FLISAT children’s table.  She was interested in getting one for her son, who is around my daughter’s age. But, it was completely out of stock in every Southern California IKEA store and unavailable for shipping. She’d looked into getting it on the secondary market, where sellers were asking for prices she wasn’t comfortable paying.
